Denny Brands provides a vast range of products to restaurants, hotels, colleges, universities, caterers, laundries, commercial and large private kitchens through retail, mail order and contract supply. Dennys Brands has four main locations. HQ in Leatherhead combines our mail order and warehouse operations along with the accounts, marketing, purchasing and production departments. The Dean Street store, Soho, in the heart of the bustling restaurant district, has become something of an institution for chefs, waiters and all those involved in the hospitality industry. Our Canary Wharf location at Marina Point houses the Joseph Alan brand, specialising in bespoke uniforms and made to measure tailoring.  The latest addition to our retail offering is our impressive flagship store, just off Oxford Street, which combines all the services Dennys Brands has to offer in a one stop shop for the hospitality industry.

Role: Senior Accounts Administrator

Hours: 40 hours per week

Location:  Leatherhead

Job description:

Daily bank reconciliation using an Excel spreadsheet

Processing & coding expenses

Drawing down Paypal payments

Petty Cash management

Processing and code checking overhead invoices

Resolving invoice queries

Making weekly payments to suppliers

Posting cash received from customers

Reconciling supplier statements

Maintaining prepayments log

Maintaining fixed asset register

Inputting journals

Uploading Quarterly VAT


Assisting Accounts manager with HR admin and maintaining sickness and attendance records

Any other duties that arise

Essential skills/qualities required:

Good communication skills and telephone manner essential.

Strong IT skills – particularly Excel

Previous experience of Purchase and Nominal Ledger

Good organisational skills

Candidate to be reliable, trustworthy and respect confidentiality.

Pro-active attitude to problem solving

Role: Sales Assistant

Hours: 40 hours

Location: Central London

We are looking for a Full Time Sales Assistant to join our friendly team. 

The role is 40 hours per week. Working hours will be Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm, but you will be required to work 2 or 3 weekend days a month (resulting in a day of during that week).

The ideal candidate will have previously worked in retail, ideally in a menswear store. Must have excellent customer service, computer skills and be able to fully communicate in English. Tailoring experience is an advantage.
