Dennys Brands is the leading supplier of own and other brand clothing to the hospitality and corporate uniform market. Unlike many other suppliers, we hold items in stock and offer a next day delivery service - or immediate delivery at our Berners Street Flagship store or via our network of 50 distributors throughout the UK, Europe, Middle East, Asia and Australia.

Denny Brands provides a vast range of products to restaurants, hotels, colleges, universities, caterers, laundries, commercial and large private kitchens through retail, mail order and contract supply. Dennys Brands also sells specialist livery and tailored uniforms in the City of London and various museums, hotels and tourist attractions.

Dennys Brands has been established in London for over 170 years, has achieved ISO9001 certification and has been awarded the Royal Warrant.

Dennys Brands has two main locations. HQ in Leatherhead combines our mail order and warehouse operations along with the accounts, marketing, purchasing and production departments. Our impressive flagship store, just off Oxford Street, which combines all the services Dennys Brands has to offer in a one stop shop for the hospitality industry, and is home to our Joseph Alan brand, specialising in bespoke uniforms and made to measure tailoring.

The Dennys team is growing! We currently have a number of job roles we are looking to fill across our various locations. Hours: 40 hours per week minimum
Salary: £25,000 per annum - negotiable depending on experience
Location: Leatherhead, Surrey

Main duties:

  • Carry out daily bank reconciliations using an Excel cashbook
  • Drawdown and reconcile paypal
  • Prepare and submit weekly payrun to suppliers
  • Maintain fixed asset register
  • Compile and input monthly journals
  • Perform monthly reconciliations to the nominal ledger
  • Code and process expense claims
  • Code and process overhead invoices

Essential skills/qualities required are:

  • At least two years' experience in an account’s role
  • Excellent communication skills, confident manner in dealing with suppliers
  • Confident using computerised systems. Must be confident using Excel
  • Numeracy
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent time keeping

Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £19,000 - £20,000 per annum
Location: Leatherhead, Surrey

Main duties:

  • Loading sales orders received by email/telephone or web/eBay and assisting the sales team
  • Customer account monitoring – following up on backorders and keeping customers informed of stock availability
  • Dealing with customer queries on Live Chat, email, or by telephone
  • Processing embroidery orders and liaising with our in-house embroidery department
  • Checking stock availability at our various locations and following up on courier deliveries
  • Creating and maintaining spreadsheets for customers
  • Liaising with other internal departments - accounts, purchasing, warehouse and retail shops
  • Undertaking a variety of admin duties to keep the sales office running to a high standard
  • Any other duties that arise in order for the Sales department to run smoothly

Essential skills/qualities required are:

  • Good communication skills and telephone manner
  • ICT literate and proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Good organisational skills
  • Candidate to be reliable, trustworthy and respect confidentiality
  • Ability to work under pressure

Desirable skills:

  • Previous experience of sales support/admin
  • Strong Excel skills
